Any foul play in relation to the death of 60-year-old restaurant owner and well-known chef, Lance Seeto, in his Suva home has been ruled out.
This has been confirmed by the Assistant Commissioner of Police – Crime ACP Mesake Waqa.
He says investigations will continue as per the process for an inquest.
A report was received at Totogo Police Station from a colleague after he went to Seeto's home at Clarke Street to check on him as several attempts to make contact were futile.
The colleague discovered Seeto lying motionless and alerted the police.
Officers from the Crime Scene Investigations Unit were deployed to the scene to conduct the initial phases of the investigation.
