No approvals have been given as yet for the proposed development at Uduya point as the Lands Ministry is still awaiting word from the landowners.
Permanent Secretary Tevita Boseiwaqa said the landowners have some issues with the development.
He said other areas of approvals have been met in relation to the environmental assessment report.
Meanwhile, Boseiwaqa has stressed that all requirements have been met in relation to the development site at Marine drive opposite the former Lami rubbish dump where mangroves have been removed and an industrial site including a container yard will be set up.
Concerns have already been raised with Fijivillage on the Marine Drive developments on how the planning works are being done and suggestions have been made to ensure that such developments should be in the industrial area rather than putting them on the main highway, in a mangrove area and near a residential area.
