A video of two girls thrashing out their disagreement through a violent fist-fight in a neighbourhood in Nabua has been widely shared online and is prompting concerns about how the encounter could have ended badly for both of them.
Police confirm that no report has been lodged regarding the incident.
The two girls repeatedly punch and shove each other while a group of other girls scream and cheer them on with repeated name-calling and swearing.
One girl is taking a live video of the incident.
The video is more than 4 minutes long.
The fight briefly stops for a moment as a man intervenes and tells the girls to stop fighting but as soon as the man leaves, the two girls face off again.
Moments later another attempt is made by some girls to intervene to stop the fight but other girls continued to scream "leave them" and "pull her hair".
More than two minutes into the video, the fight stops with everyone calling for calm and the two girls then shake hands.
It is unclear what caused the fight but a girl can be heard in the video accusing another girl of throwing something at their car.
