Nitin Gandhi has been named as the Chair of the Elections Commission for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
Gandhi’s appointment marks a significant step forward in his extensive career, which has spanned leadership in professional services, public service and humanitarian work.
Gandhi served as the Managing Partner at PWC Fiji, where he dedicated over 40 years, including 27 years as a partner.
His humanitarian involvement includes an impactful tenure as President of the Fiji Red Cross Society.
The IFRC Elections Commission is essential to their operations, guiding the transparent and impartial elections process for the Federation’s Governing Board and recommending candidates for various commissions and committees.
The IFRC is the world’s largest humanitarian network, serving 192 countries worldwide through the coordination of national Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
