Nikki McKibbin, 'American Idol' contestant, has died aged 42

Nikki McKibbin, a contestant on the first season of "American Idol," has died. She was 42.
McKibbin suffered an aneurysm, her husband Craig Sadler announced in a Facebook post.
He wrote that McKibbin was kept on life support until Saturday so her organs could be donated.
McKibbin finished third in the first season of "American Idol" in 2002, behind winner Kelly Clarkson and runner-up Justin Guarini.
