The newly constructed two lane 3 kilometre road that links up Queens Road/Wailoaloa Road with Denarau Road is now complete.
Fiji Roads Authority Programme Manager for the Nadi and Suva Road Upgrading Project, Zaina Khan said this new road provides some alternative links for motorists travelling to and from Queens Road in Nadi.
She said motorists are advised that Wailoaloa Road at the junction with Queens Road will in the interim have to be restricted to a left-turn.
This will provide safety for all motorists and pedestrians until the upgrade of all roads at this intersection is completed.
Motorists who want to travel towards Northern Press Road are advised to access Queens Road at Enamanu Road via the newly opened link road.
Khan said the Fiji Police Force will be monitoring the traffic.
