The newly appointed Board of the Fiji Rakavi Football Union Limited (FRFUL) has hit the ground running, meeting with departmental heads yesterday to review progress on 2025 work programs and to discuss the challenges and opportunities ahead.
In a statement, the FRFUL says the meeting served as a platform for departmental heads to present their 2025 plans, highlighting key initiatives and projected outcomes.
They say discussions were focused on addressing hurdles, identifying areas for improvement, and fostering innovative ways to turn challenges into opportunities.
Board Chairman John Sanday emphasized the Board’s commitment to good governance and commercial principles, assuring the people of Fiji that rugby in the country is in capable hands.
Sanday says the session was vital for providing all of us with deeper insights into Fiji Rugby and allowed them to align their efforts and ensure they are on track to achieve the goals set for 2025 and beyond.
He says the Board is blessed with a range of skills and capabilities, and they are committed to addressing challenges head-on while seizing opportunities to drive progress.
He adds they left the meeting inspired and with a clearer vision of the strategic initiatives required to position Fiji Rugby on a sustainable economic footing.
