Newcastle have booked their place in the fifth round of the FA Cup after defeating Fulham 2-0 at Craven Cottage this morning.
A controversial first-half goal from Sean Longstaff set the visitors on their way, with the midfielder sweeping a left-foot effort into the bottom right corner after the ball deflected into his path off the arm of team-mate Bruno Guimaraes.
Dan Burn doubled Newcastle's lead just after the hour mark, lashing in from close range against his former employers.
The draw for the next round of the competition will take place next Sunday.
In other results, Maidstone United beat Ipswich 2-1, Luton beat Everton 2-1, Leicester defeated Birmingham 3-0, Brighton beat Sheffield United 5-2 and Plymouth drew 1-all with Leeds United.
