Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s coach Saiasi Fuli has named a strong squad for the upcoming Oceania 7s Rugby Championship in Australia next week.

Fuli says they have a few new players in the squad and it is all part of their long-term plan as they want to expose these players.

He says this is the positive impact of the women’s competitions in the Fiji Rugby Union setup like the Ranadi Cup and the Raluve Competitions where the selectors scout players.

Fuli further says they have set their targets heading into this tournament and that is to secure a spot in the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The Fijiana 7s squad for the Oceania 7s:

Vani Buleki, Alowesi Nakoci, Laisani Moceisawana, Reapi Uluinasau, Ana Naimasi, Maria Rokotuisiga, Adimereani Rogosau, Vasiti Solikoviti, Raijeli Daveua, Ilisapeci Delaiwau, Lavena Cavuru, Viniana Riwai.

The Oceania 7s will be held from next Friday to Sunday at the Ballymore Stadium in Brisbane.
