The Nadi Town Council has embarked on a $6 million market project this year.
Special Administrator Aisea Tuidraki revealed that following the $150,000 Namaka Market extension project, the council in partnership with a private developer has begun a new market project.
Tuidraki said they already have an arrangement with the private developer.
Meanwhile, Tuidraki said while they are looking forward to the projects this year, they completed some successful projects last year and one of them was the extension to the Namaka Market which now has 130 additional stalls.
