It was a joyous and memorable day for the students and staff of Nasau Secondary School after the commissioning of six new classrooms worth more than $540,000 to the School Management Committee.

This was made possible through Japan’s Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP) Programme.

While commissioning the new buildings, Minister for Education Aseri Radrodro says their collaborative effort to build better education in Fiji through infrastructure over the years is worth celebrating.

He says the Ministry is grateful that the school took the initiative to engage with the education donor to build classrooms for their school and this is a reflection of Ratu Sir Lala Sukuna’s famous adage of Education being a three legged stool and they take equal responsibility in it.

Radrodro says the new classrooms will be a living proof for the generations to come of the sheer hard work of the people of Nasau and their firm belief that education makes a difference in Fiji’s communities.

The students and staff of Nasau Secondary School were delighted to receive their Six New Classrooms worth more than $540,000 which includes Furniture (150 sets of chairs and desks for students and 5 sets of desks and chairs for teachers).
