The new Ambassador of France to Fiji Jean-François Fitou presented his credentials to President Jioji Konrote at Borron House today.
Fitou also inspected a 20-member guard of honor by the Republic of the Fiji Military Forces.
Prior to his appointment, he served as Ambassador of France in Pristina, Kosovo from 2010 till 2012.
His extensive tertiary qualifications include Diploma of the Institute of Political Science of Toulouse, Diploma of Advanced Studies in History and Diploma of History Professor.
Fitou has held various positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in France including Director of the French Cooperation Office in Pyongyang, North Korea till to date.
