New Zealand continues its unbeaten run in the 2023 ICC Men's Cricket World Cup as they thrashed Afghanistan by 149 runs early this morning.
This is the fourth win for the Black Caps in the tournament.
Afghanistan came into the game full of confidence after their victory over defending champions England however they missed many opportunities on taking wickets.
Afghanistan captain Hashmatullah Shahidi also expressed his disappointment on the catches and added that at this level it is important to concentrate which will hurt us as the team was doing well.
Afghanistan will now face Pakistan at 8.30pm Monday while New Zealand will face host India at 8.30pm Sunday.
India will take on Bangladesh at 8.30 tonight.
New Zealand is currently leading the table with 8 points followed by India with 6 points while South Africa is third with 4 points.
