The new Nausori market and bus stand will open later this month.
Local Government Minister, Parveen Bala confirms most of the work has finished and the two new facilities will be opening this month.
He says the old market is over 70 years old and the new market and bus stand will bring a lot of relief and new opportunities for the Nausori economy.
The Nausori Town Council had signed a $6 million loan offer from the Fiji Development Bank for the construction of the new Nausori market and bus stand.
This was in addition to the $3 million that was contributed by the government.
