The new Legal Aid Fiji headquarters has added new free services.
Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama while officially opening the new office this morning said this includes assisting in the drafting of wills, the taking out of letters at administration, probate and assisting with the Fiji National Provident Fund withdrawals in the absence of a nomination.
Meanwhile, Solicitor General Christopher Pryde said public demand for legal services has increased and will continue to increase.
Legal Aid Fiji now employs 20 legal officers, 16 corporate and support staff and is now located at Loftus street in Suva.
