Students of Stella Maris Primary School will continue to be one of the schools in Fiji that will produce international athletes after their new Basketball and Volleyball court was opened today.
The new court which was funded and built by the Bank of the South Pacific brought smiles to the students faces when they gathered to open their court this morning.
School Manager Sister Judith Moore said for a long time the court was in a bad condition.
Stella Marist have produced some of the top athletes in the country including Pacific Sprint King Banuve Tabakaucoro and Fiji's 100m sprinter Sisilia Sevula.
