The new $3 million Nausori market and Bus stand will be operational by next Tuesday.

Nausori Town council said all market vendors are currently moving into their stalls and all arrangements will be completed by next Monday.

The council said this should ensure that both the market and bus stand will be opened to the public simultaneously.

The new market has over 1,800 stalls, 16 small shops and three restaurants and also has a special section to sell fish while crops and vegetables will be sold in two separate sections.

The new bus stand which has been constructed next to the new market has four main terminals and 26 bus bays.
