Flying Fijian centre, Waisea Nayacalevu has left Ospreys without playing a game because of personal reasons.
Nayacalevu joined Ospreys from Sale on a short-term deal in February as cover for injured Wales centre Owen Watkin.
But he did not feature in United Rugby Championship matches against Glasgow and Connacht.
Head coach Mark Jones had said has had a personal matter where they were allowing him to spend time with his family.
However, ahead of their Welsh derby URC fixture with Scarlets yesterday, Ospreys say Nayacalevu will leave the region.
According to a statement, Nayacalevu in February and was due to remain with the club until June but, due to personal reasons, it has been mutually agreed to end his contract with immediate effect.
Nayacalevu started his career with Stade Francais before joining fellow French side Toulon in 2022.
He spent two seasons at Stade Mayol before joining Sale last year.
