NSW Waratahs winger Mark Nawaqanitawase will be one of the threats that the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua will try and counter as the two teams clash in the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific this Saturday.
Drua coach Mick Byrne has labeled Nawaqanitawase as a “classy winger” who has been impressive throughout the competition this year.
Byrne says Nawaqanitawase will be looking to provide the threat against his fellow countrymen, especially on the wing and also prove his worth for a Wallabies call-up.
He says it has not ruled out the fact that the Fijian Drua has the talent and the players that can match what the Waratahs will bring into their clash this weekend.
Byrne says this will be an exciting match-up and he cannot wait to see how his players will deal with the threats out wide.
The Fijian Drua will play the Waratahs at 9.35pm in Sydney. In other matches this week, Moana Pasifika will host the Crusaders at 7.05pm Friday, the Reds will take on the Blues at 9.35pm Friday, the Highlanders will take on the Rebels at 4.35pm Saturday, the Chiefs will play the Hurricanes at 7.05pm Saturday while the Force will take on the Brumbies at 12am Sunday.
