Fijian winger Mark Nawaqanitawase scored a try for his Wallabies side to help them secure a 35-15 win over Georgia in their 2023 Rugby World Cup opener this morning.
Nawaqanitawase scored the Wallabies’ second try in the 9th minute of play after centre Jordan Petaia opened the scoring for them in the 2nd minute with an unconverted try.
Fullback Ben Donaldson starred for the Wallabies as he scored 25 points in the match after kicking 3 penalties, 3 conversions and 2 tries.
The Wallabies led 21-3 at halftime.
This is also the first win for the Wallabies since head coach Eddie Jones took charge of the team this year.
In other RWC matches that have been played, host France beat the All Blacks 27-13, Italy thrashed Namibia 52-8 and Ireland demolished Romania 82-8.
England is currently playing Argentina.
