Navua River bursts its bank

The Navua river has burst its bank and flood waters have reached the old Navua Hospital and Max Value Supermarket.

This has been confirmed by Navua Police who also say the entrance to Navua Town from the Queens Highway has been closed off.

Please take alternative routes.

Navua Police say movement is also restricted in the town area.
