Navua Police confirms flood waters in all areas in Navua are receding

Navua Police confirms that floodwaters in all areas in Navua are receding.

They say there are currently 45 people are taking shelter at LDS Church in Calia, Navua while 26 people are taking shelter at the Old Navua Hospital.

Police say these people are in the evacuation centres from last night as it was raining heavily.

They say although the flood waters are receding in the area, some people cannot go home because their houses have to be cleaned up.
