Navua Football President Rajeev Prasad has appeared in the Navua Magistrates Court for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol.
Police say the alleged incident happened in Navua on Sunday night.
Prasad who is also a businessman was released on bail and ordered not to re-offend and surrender his driving license in court.
The matter has been adjourned to next Tuesday.
