More than 500 people are expected to converge in Nausori town after mid day today to mark International Women’s Day celebrations.
Organizer and Sanatan Nari Mahamandal President, Basundra Kumar said this is a large scale celebration and approximately 500 people including form seven students from Secondary schools in Nausori District are expected to participate in the celebrations.
She added that students will also make speeches during the celebrations.
The theme for this year’s women day celebrations is Empowering Women and Girls for Better Families and a Better Fiji.
