Upgrading works at the Nausori Airport is the main priority for Airports Fiji Limited.
Chairman, Adrian Sofield said the Airport has been a problem for many years.
He said Air Pacific is not flying into Nausori at night and they have been unable to do their Sydney flights as yet.
He said they may be able to do that after the approach lights are installed for night landing and other major upgrades are done.
Meanwhile, AFL will spend $15 million at Nausori Airport, as for the next few years they will spend $120 million on upgrading of Airports around the country.
