Nausori Town Council to promote the Green Economy Concept

The Nausori Town Council is now undertaking a partnership with the Department of Energy to promote the Green Economy Concept. 

Minister for Environment Parveen Bala said that the installation of the new Solar Power Panels at the Nausori Market is an initiative under the Energy Minimization Program. 

He added that Nausori Market will be the first civic building premises in Fiji that will be utilizing solar energy and is also expected to promote the Green Economy Concept.

Bala said that the proposed project is expected to be completed by the end of December this year.
