The National Candidates Ball Draw to allocate numbers to the approved 343 candidates for next month's general elections has been conducted at the Suva Civic Centre in the presence of the Electoral Commission, party representatives and the Multinational Observer Group.
Expect the campaigns of all political parties to intensify as they also start campaigning on their candidate numbers until the morning of December 12th.
According to Fiji’s Electoral Act, the ballot paper will have candidate numbers, and people have to circle, tick or cross one candidate number.
Pre-polling will be held in selected areas during selected times from December 5th to 9th.
Majority of the registered voters will vote on election day scheduled for December 14th.
