Tough competition is expected in the Senior Girls 100 metres race during the Coca-Cola Games next week.
Natabua High School’s Ofa Lagonilakeba will be the athlete to watch out for as she ran a manual time of 11.77 seconds during the Lautoka Zone.
She will face competition from Saint Joseph Secondary School’s Tokasa Gukirewa who clocked a time of 12.51 seconds, Kesaia Bolekanakadau of MGM who ran a time of 12.75 seconds and Rapeka Rosi of ACS with a time of 12.79 seconds.
All these are manual times.
The Coca Cola Games will be held from next Thursday to Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium.
ACS and RKS are the defending champions.
