Nasoko to start off the bench for Chiefs game

Olympic Gold Medalist Kalione Nasoko will potentially be making his debut off the bench for the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua in their round 9 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific match against the Chiefs.

Also making their first start for this season are Flying Fijians loose-head prop Haereiti Hetet, inside centre Michael Naitokani, while Chris Minimbi will start from the bench.

Tevita Ikanivere will once again captain the side while Isoa Nasilasila and Leone Rotuisolia pair up in the second row.

Joseva Tamani remains at blindside flanker while Elia Canakaivata moves to the openside and Te Ahiwaru Cirikidaveta remains at number 8.

In the backline, Peni Matawalu will pair up once again with Teti Tela at fly-half while Apisalome Vota is at outside centre.

Tuidraki Samusamuvodre starts again on the left wing with Ilaisa Droasese on the right and Selestino Ravutaumada completes the backline at fullback.

Mesulame Dolokoto, Livai Natave, Jone Tiko, Chris Minimbi, Rusiate Nasove, Philip Baselala and Kitione Taliga are on the bench.

The Fijian Drua meet the Chiefs at FMG Stadium in Hamilton at 7.05pm Friday.
