Students of Nasivikoso Primary School in Ba will now enjoy access to better school amenities after the finishing touches of their school facilities.

While speaking during the opening of facilities at the school, Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama says he is happy to see that the students of Nasivikoso have already started the New Year with three new classrooms and new furniture and equipment.

Bainimarama says the completion of two new teachers’ quarters will ensure that the teachers who dedicate themselves to teach in the village have a suitable place to live in and the new washroom facilities ensure that the proper level of hygiene is maintained.

He also says the new school generator will now allow students to study at night and enjoy access to other amenities.

The total cost of this project is nearly $170,000 which is funded by the Prime Minister’s Office under the 2014 Small Grant Scheme.
