The Nasinu Town Council is still working on their plan to build a new stadium at the Valelevu Ground.
Council CEO Akhtar Ali says the project is progressing well and one can expect delays from time to time as they want everything to go as planned.
Ali says they are completing the ground works and simultaneously working on the stadium project which is expected to cater for approximately 3,000 people.
He adds that they may call this Nasinu Park to draw on the sporting activities that are normally held at the ANZ Stadium and Ratu Cakobau Park.
He earlier revealed that the cost for the project will be more than $1m.
