Nasinu Town Council signs contract with Japan Embassy for 2 Garbage Compactor trucks

The Nasinu Town Council has signed a grant contract with the Embassy of Japan for the supply of two Garbage Compactor trucks.

The $449,542 grant was handed over by the Ambassador of Japan to Nasinu Town Council Special Administrator Mosese Kama in the presence of Minister for Local Government Parveen Bala.

Kama says Nasinu Town is the largest municipality in Fiji in terms of population and land area compared to Suva and Lautoka.

He says it has an annual population growth rate of 2 percent and has the highest number of informal settlement residents of 12,000.
