Narayan appointed Acting Police Commissioner

Deputy Commissioner of Police Ravi Narayan has been appointed as the Acting Commissioner of Police.

The Fiji Police Force said Narayan’s appointment came into effect on the 18th of September and will run until a new Commissioner of Police is appointed.

Minister for Defence Joketani Cokanasiga made the decision yesterday.

Former Police Commissioner, Brigadier General Ioane Naivalarua’s contract expired earlier this month.
