The Fiji Police Force and the National Fire Authority are jointly investigating four fires that occurred over the last two days including an incident that destroyed the Naleba Youth Training Center boys hostel in the Northern Division, and the cost of destruction is estimated to be worth more than $100,000.

Police say there were no injuries or casualties.

A fire also destroyed a one-bedroom home belonging to a 40-year-old farmer in Qeleni, Taveuni, and Police say they believe the fire started from the kitchen.

The estimated cost of damage is believed to be around $30,000.
