Nalaubu scores a hat-trick as Fiji beats Vanuatu 3-0 in a friendly

Sairusi Nalaubu scored a hat-trick as the Digicel National Football team beat Vanuatu 3-0 in a friendly at the Qatar University Ground ahead of the Oceania Qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup.

Patrick Joseph, Afraz Ali, Nabil Begg, Rahul Naresh, Lekima Gonerau and Isikeli Sevanaia were introduced later into the match.

This is head coach, Flemming Serritslev’s first match since joining the Bula Boys.

Captain, Roy Krishna is expected to join the team later this week after playing for ATK Mohun Bagan in the Indian Super League.

Fiji takes on New Caledonia next Saturday at 5am.

Fiji’s second match is against New Zealand on March 22nd and they take on PNG on 25th March.
