The villagers of Nakorokula in Ra are requesting the Fiji Roads Authority if a hump could be installed at the village's main road following a few accidents that have been taking place there.

A representative from the village says that they have been requesting the installation of a road hump because of these accidents but nothing has been done about it.

He says they are worried about the villagers using the road especially school children to catch the bus to Rakiraki every day.

He adds the lives of the people are paramount and they are requesting immediate actions.

Meanwhile, the FRA says road hump construction for Nakorokula Village is scheduled for this month.
