After 10 years of learning in the village hall, more than 80 children of Nadovu village and four other villages in Naitasiri will now have classes in a new learning environment.
Dreams turned into reality for the children after government and the European Union assisted them with $116,000 for the construction of the Nailagabokala Primary School.
Tikina representative Eroni Katonisau said that in the past, children aged six to seven were sent out to boarding school but were unable to focus on their study because they were homesick.
The school will be officially opened today by Commissioner Central Colonel Laisenia Tuitobou.
