Fiji-born Hurricanes winger Kiniviliame Naholo put on a man-of-the-match performance for the Hurricanes last night as he helped his side secure a 35-29 win over the Brumbies in their round 11 clash of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific.
Naholo was outstanding on the wing as he ran a game-high of 123 metres in 13 carries with 2 linebreaks and beating 11 defenders.
The brother of former All Blacks winger, Waisake Naholo, was also in top form with his defence as he had a 100 percent tackling rate which included a dominant tackle.
Kini, as he is known to his teammates, has been outstanding so far this season and if he maintains his consistent performance, the 26-year-old will surely make his way into the All Blacks squad this year.
Meanwhile, in other matches of round 11, the Chiefs thrashed the Force 56-22, the Reds upset the Blues 35-21, Moana Pasifika defeated the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua 34-15, and the Crusaders thumped the Highlanders 43-10.
