Nadroga has retained the Inkk Farebother Challenge trophy after coming from behind to hold Suva 15-all in the third challenge match today.
Nadroga scored the first points of the match through a penalty to lead 3-0 before losing concentration in the later stages of the first half letting Suva score a converted try and a penalty kick at goal to lead 10-3.
Nadroga tried to reduce the deficit but Suva was strong in defence denying the stallions every opportunity.
Suva led 10-3 at halftime.
Suva started the second half strongly scoring another unconverted try to extend their lead to 15-8 before Nadroga replied with a converted try in the last 20 minutes of the game to lock the score at 15-all.
Suva had the chance to steal the game in the dying stages of the match but mistakes proved too costly for them as Nadroga lifted their defence in the last 10 minutes of the encounter.
Nadroga will now turn their focus to their next challenge next Saturday.
