Businesses in Nadi Town have expressed concerns regarding the current traffic flow in and out of Nadi Town saying it is having a major impact on their business.
They have raised concern with the Minister of Local Government, Premila Kumar that the one way route through Nadi Town has had a major impact on their business and accessibility in the tourist town will slowly turn it into a ghost town, if nothing is done.
Following the meeting with the ratepayers, market vendors, taxi operators and businesses in Nadi Town, Kumar has stated the traffic flow needs to be reviewed.
Kumar says she will bring this to the attention of the Fiji Roads Authority with a view to finding a solution.
We have sent questions to the FRA.
