A major upset has taken place at Prince Charles Park yesterday afternoon as the Nadi rugby team defeated Namosi 29-12 in Round 6 of the Skipper Cup competition.

Nadi led 15-5 at halftime and dominated possession in the match.

Namosi is currently the holder of the Farebrother Sullivan Trophy and is also leading the Skipper Cup table.

This is Namosi’s first defeat this season.

In other results, the Namosi Women’s team beat Nadi 19-5 while the Namosi Under 19 team also defeated Nadi 24-10.

In other matches, Nadroga will host Yasawa at 3 pm tomorrow at Lawaqa Park, Lautoka will host Suva at 3.30 pm tomorrow at Churchill Park while Tailevu and Naitasiri face off at 3 pm tomorrow at Ratu Cakobau Park.
