NZ court remands woman for alleged stabbing of Verma

The Lower Hutt District court in New Zealand has remanded a Petone woman until today for the alleged murder of 30-year-old Vashaun Verma who has links to Fiji.
29-year-old Jessica Lee Keefe will appear in court today to make an application for bail tomorrow.
30-year-old Verma died after he was allegedly stabbed on the chest on Tuesday night.
He leaves behind an 18-month-old son who is being looked after by his grandfather Rajesh Verma.
The grieving father said he holds no grudge against Jessica Keefe.
Stuff.co reports that Keefe was seen crying with a bleeding nose and cuts and scratches on her arm before she was handcuffed and taken away by police on Tuesday.
