A new established New Zealand Company in Fiji, Turners and Growers is planning to bring in fresh gala apples into the country direct from NZ.
Company's Fiji Director, Bobby Sharma said they have brought a few boxes as samples and will bring in more if demand for it increases.
He said as far as the vegetables and fruits are concerned they are getting more of it to fulfill the demand.

Sharma said at the moment they are trying to cater for wholesalers and retailers mainly and their main aim is to provide fresh fruit and vegetables directly to people instead of getting a middleman involved to save time and money.
The company is situated at 15 Jai Ambaamaa Road, Bhindi Subdivision, Vatuwaqa, Suva.
