25-year-old Fiji-born New Zealand based netball player, Ana Cagi Moi says she is excited to be part of the Fiji Pearls team that will take part in the World Cup in Cape Town.
Moi, who will be playing in centre, says it is a special moment for her to debut for the national team this year.
Moi left NZ in March for the trial to qualify for the national team.
Fiji’s first match is against Tonga next Friday, followed by Zimbabwe next Saturday and they will then play Australia on July 30th.
The Pearls will be leaving our shores today for Cape Town.
The Netball World Cup will feature 16 teams and will take place from July 28th to August 6th.
