New Zealand Foreign Affairs Minister, Nanaia Mahuta is in the country and will be engaging in a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka.
This is the second time the Minister has paid a visit to Fiji.
In the course of her two-day trip to Fiji, Mahuta will be looking to reaffirm and strengthen the warm friendship already shared by Fiji and New Zealand.
During her trip, the Minister will also meet with other ministers in the new coalition Government, the Opposition representatives, and women Members of Parliament, and will be visiting a New Zealand-funded development activity.
Mahuta will also be paying a cultural visit to the chiefly island of Bau.
