NFA officials help Lovu residents move to Lovu Sangam School

The National Fire Authority confirms that their officials are at Lovu Settlement in Lautoka to help residents to move to Lovu Sangam School.

We have received information that more than 50 houses are affected by flood waters.

Seniyaya Bridge in Lovu is also flooded.

Prakash Chand of Paipai in Lautoka says that students and other people who went to work in the morning have gone to stay with their relatives and friends.

We have also information that more than 70 households in Lomolomo in Lautoka have moved to higher ground.

Police Spokesperson, Ana Naisoro has confirmed that Vuda Back Road is closed to all traffic.

Other bridges and roads that are closed include Banaras Road, Natabua Seaside, Savu bridge, Lovu seaside, Drasa Vitogo near Tilak High School, Field 40 Road, Natabua Junction and Saru Navula Bridge have been affected by flood waters.
