NDMO starts disinfecting flood affected areas

Disinfection of flood affected areas have started as a measure to avoid the spread of diseases like Leptospirosis, Typhoid and Dengue Fever that are common after a natural disaster.

The National Disaster Management Office says with the help of the National Fire Authority and the Ministry of Health, they have started disinfecting many areas in Nausori including Lokia, Waidamudamu and Koronivia.
