A team from the National Disaster Management Office is expected to be deployed to Kadavu this morning for assessment of post-Tropical Cyclone Sarai.
Another team will travel by boat on Friday while plans are also underway for assessment on Southern Lau.
Meanwhile, there are now six evacuation centres in the country which are in the Central and Western Division.
NDMO Director, Vasiti Soko says their main focus for the next 24 hours is to supply food rations to the evacuation centers and the deployment of teams to the Eastern Division, mainly Kadavu and Southern Lau.
