Setaita Rabuli, a mother of 4 children, wished that her late husband, who was her pillar of strength and mentor, to be present at her graduation day for Fiji National University.
Rabuli, who hails from the hidden paradise in Savusavu, had to pull herself together after her mentor and supportive husband died last year.
She says her husband was her pillar of strength because he helped her throughout her academic journey, and he died while she had four units left, leaving her to look after her children.
Rabuli, who works for the Ministry of Youth and Sports, says her eldest son is in Queen Victoria School and would often motivate her not to give up on her studies.
She says with God being at the centre of her family, she now knows that all will be well with her and her kids.
Rabuli graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce, Management of Human Resources and Management Industrial Relations.
36 students graduated with their Master's degrees today, and more than 300 students graduated from the College of Business, Hospitality, and Tourism Studies, and 87 graduated from the College of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Forestry.
