Motorists have the right to report bad driving behavior of government drivers - Mishra

If motorists come across any bad driving behavior on the road by government drivers they have the right to lodge a report to the nearest police station and police will conduct their investigations.

This has been highlighted by Police Director Traffic SSP Mahesh Mishra when Fijivillage raised the issue that there have been a number of complaints from motorists in the West about speeding government vehicles and the abuse of emergency lights.

Mishra says for government vehicles, there is a specific transport policy that has been put in place by the Ministry of Economy and every government driver must respect all the road rules.

He says whether it is a government vehicle or a private vehicle, the law is for everyone and no one is above it.
